Tranter bring the team back to life, at least in literary form, with their book, “Buffalo Braves From A to Z.” It’s a thorough examination of the team’s history from 1970 to 1978, and contains biographies of all 71 players and 12 front office figures who were crucial parts of the team’s story. The publication, printed by St. Johann Press, offers the most thorough examination of this star-crossed franchise ever published. The book contains year-by-year descriptions of the team’s play, as well as descriptions of Buffalo’s basketball history and the team’s homes.
